This one began with a hand painted repeat pattern, worked slowly across the gentle slope of a shade. Sometimes a quieter mark says just as much as a louder one, and this design is proof of that. Soft, considered, and easy to live with. Created by artist Jane McCall and made in Sussex, England, it's printed on fabric and lined with cream card, so it wipes clean and holds its colour beautifully.
